Dog Behavior - A Guide

In this article we will give you a complete guide to dog behaviour, from basics to advanced training sessions, with a focus on s that are new to you and causing you too much anxiety. We will provide you with essential information on how to deal with your new dog and the beginning stages of dog obedience training.

Establishing Lay DownThe very first step you need to take with your pet is establishing a lay down. This is because dogs are naturally very territorial and until you teach them otherwise they will want to mark their territory. You do not want them overly barking and charging at other dogs and people. The lay down command is very easy to teach and by using a few simple commands and techniques you will master this within a few weeks. สล็อตเว็บตรง

Heeling on the LeashWhen you first get a puppy, walk your puppy on the leash in your house; this is the very first time he has ever worn a collar and lead. Heeling is a very basic command and should be taught without too much fuss. Start with your  in the sitting position. Show him the lead and let him see it. Place it against his collar for a few days so he gets used to it by himself. Then attach it to his collar while he is still wearing his collar. Let him walk around with the lead attached and walk around your house, he will probably pull against it at first but after a day or so he will get used to it. Always keep some time tethered to the lead in case your dog tries to sniff it or lunge at it.

Introducing the Stay CommandAlthough it seems like an extremely basic command don’t be fooled. The stay command is the next step in your dog’s development of obedience. Do not start introducing it at the first or second obedience session as it will take a long time for your puppy to master the command. Begin by telling your dog to sit and stay. At the same time hold your hand in the stay position (you need to simultaneously tell and show your  the hand signal as well). Next tell your puppy to stay and begin to walk a few feet away from your dog. After that have someone run or roller blade your dog so that he can see you. Tell him to stay and alternate between the commands every few seconds. While he is staying don’t forget to pet him or offer him a treat. สล็อตเว็บตรง

Next step in teaching the stay command is to release him from the stay command. So tell him, “Okay pack, time to come!” When your dog comes to you reward him for his action. Next time he does it right get him to stay a little longer and repeat the rewards and praise for a few seconds longer. The final version of the stay command will be where you ask “Do you want to come with me?” After developing this command start practicing it where ever you are. Take him out to the yard, to the neighbor’s yard, to the hotel and just a short walk. extended walks are great to develop this command because he is learning to stay where you ask and you are learning to put him back on his leash so that you can take him for a shorter walk. สล็อตเว็บตรง

Distraction Distraction is a great way to teach your dog to stay. Take advantage of every opportunity to teach this command or develop a distraction that will keep him on task. The “gimme” command is great because a lot of dogs want to be with their owner while they are busy doing something. The problem is that they often have other things on their mind and before you know it your dog has gone from ” attentive” to “a focus”. สล็อตเเว็บตรงเเตกง่าย

Avoid Keeping Your Dog Too Busy.It is hard for many owners to keep their  occupied. If you have a busy work schedule and can’t spend 5 minutes a day on walks with your dog you need to find a way to keep them occupied when you are home. Every couple of hours you need to spend some quality time with your dog.

                                                                          More incentive for good behavior.

There are occasions where you want your dog to behave and you may be tempted to use a leash, however that is a bad idea because then there is this negative connection. A will not understand why you are trying to restrain him from doing something. If he is sitting and you want him to sit, but he decides to go to a different spot that is perfectly fine. If you use a leash or keep him on a leash he will wonder why he is being restrained for a “wrong” action. In addition, he will associate a negative reaction to your ” restraint ” and be a little more afraid of you. There is a better way to teach a dog to behave. Do not use a leash, stick to a regular routine that is consistent. Get him involved in the family. Walk him. Provide plenty of playtime and exercise .สล็อตเว็บตรงไม่ผ่านเอเย่นต์
